Need rec for buying online camera accessories

I need to get another charger for my digital camera. Yes, the one I just got for Christmas. I cannot find the charger to save my life.

I need to know which online vendors are reputable. I don't want to buy some cheap-*** piece of **** that will ruin my camera or battery.

Suggestions, please.

Thanks!

The retailer is not as important as the brand name. All of the reputable retailers sell third-party accessories such as batteries and chargers. If you want to make absolutely sure you don't screw something up, make sure you explicitly see your camera manufacturer's name somewhere on the product or that it's "genuine" (e.g. "genuine Canon battery").

As far as good retailers, here's a few:

Amazon.com
BeachCamera.com
Buydig.com
Newegg.com
BHphotovideo.com
AbesofMaine.com

For any others, look them up on BizRate.com or ResellerRatings.com to read reviews from customers. If the price is REALLY cheap, it may be a bait-and-switch.

I've shopped all of the above with no issues. In fact, a new camera from Abe's is on the way. Abe's will give you a call to try to sell you accessories, but it's not a pressure sell at all in my experience. Just politely decline (assuming you don't need the accessories) and they'll process the order.
