Need quick help - MIAMI

A friend and I thinking of staying Sunday night in Miami after the Cowboys game.

What area do we go stay in? Miami Beach area? Downtown? Somewhere else? Definitely somepleace we can walk to bars.

For walking distance you better either stay on the beach (southbeach) between 1st and 14th, or probably coconut grove.

A decent hotel in the grove area is the Mutiny. I think there might be a courtyard, or residence inn as well. For the upper level place, there is a ritz. Its the UM area, but there are several decently fun bars.

Another probably better option would be Ft. Lauderdale. There are several fun areas with bars, one on las olas (around 15 W Las Olas), and one on A1A. There is a REALLY nice hilton on A1A in lauderdale that is close to tons of bars and restaurants as well as beach place, which has the piano bar, a cigar store, and some other fun spots.

Mutiny in the Grove

The location around where you want to be is the Delano, if you wanted to be in South Beach. However the Delano is snotty and expensive. Here's the link anyways. Delano

Forgot to mention that downtown is very nice, however its hard to get from place to place without a taxi.

With that said, its a great place to stay for business, but not too great for pleasure.
