I left austin after I graduated and want to go back as soon as possible. I have a BS in aerospace engineering but am willing to do just about anything. If you're good with customer service there are a lot of call centers in Austin. Apple and AT&T are of the biggest, and are hiring. It's almost certainly not what you're looking for long-term but it'll pay the bills for now. Apple also has amazing benefits. Just search "customer service" and "austin, tx" at Monster.com.
