I recently gave up drinking. I have developed quit the sweet tooth since then.

I'm looking for a dish that I can put ice cream on top of. Not cake, not pie, but some kind of cookie/cake kind of thing.

I want it to have caramel, chocolate, maybe oatmeal, or cinamon. Just something I can microwave and throw some blue bell on top of.

any suggestions?

How about a Chocolate brownie? Get a box mix and just toss in some chopped pecans for texture. Cook a pan of them and then cut into one portion sizes and freeze them for future use. Nuike them then put the ice cream (vanilla is best) and enjoy.

If you are now a sweet tooth backing sort of guy you NEED to buy one of these- Exopat :

Theya re the best pastry non stick surface you will ever use. makes cookies MUCH crisper on the bottom while still allowing for a chewy interior. Pecan brittle won't stick, hot wings won't stick. the best baking invention in the last 20 years.

Deliciousness:

2 cups flour
1¼ cups margarine
2 cups quick-cooking rolled oats
1 cup (6 oz.) milk chocolate chips
1½ cups firmly packed brown sugar
½ cup chopped nuts
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup (12 oz.) caramel ice cream topping
½ tsp salt
3 Tbsp flour

In large mixer bowl, combine first 5 ingredients at low speed until crumbly. Press half of crumb mixture, about 3 cups, in greased 13x9" pan. Reserve remaining mixture for topping. Bake @ 350 for 10 minutes. Sprinkle warm base with chocolate chips and nuts. Combine caramel topping and flour; pour evenly over chocolate chips. Sprinkle with reserved crumb mixture. Return to oven and bake 18 to 22 minutes or until golden brown. Cool completely. Cut into bars. (Refrigerate for easier cutting.)

I have some Ice Cream knowledge after owning Baskin- Robbins franchises for a number of years. If you like coffee, try some Jamoca Almond Fudge with Kaula or Bailys Irish Cream on it.

Bailys is also great poured on Ben & Jerrys "Everything but the Kitchen Sink"
