Need help choosing

between two cars. Just turned 16 and I have a choice of two cars. A dark blue 1991 325 BMW Coupe or a red 1999 Ford Explorer Sport. The deal with the BMW is a I get a new car once I go to college. If I get the explorer there is no such deal.

The BMW has 120,000 miles and the Explorer has 95,000. They both hav a sun roof, leather interior, and a good CD player. Neither of the cars has been in a major accident and neither have any scratches or dents that are noticeable. The BMW has recently had some new parts put in it.
I have driven them both and I cannot decide which one to get. Any suggestions or advice would be helpful. Thanks.

You mean to tell me you can drive a perfectly good BMW for two years and then a get brand new car? Seems an easy choice to me...

i got a 1999 bmw 328is for my first car. the thing was great for a year and a half, then all kinds of hell went wrong with it. it was brand new so i had the warranty on it, but bmw service is hella expensive and suck *** at the same time. i got rid of the bmw and now i drive a lexus which i am much happier with.

the explorer sucks all kinds of ***, also. i would go with the bmw, put up with the high maintenance prices then hold out for something better, like me.

Wow, thanks for the responses. Didn't think it would be unanimous though.I have decided to get the BMW. Should get it by Wedsneday.
