need help: austin church

I have a dear friend from San Diego on temp assignment in Austin. He's a cool Christian cat. He attends Calvary Chapel deals here in SD. I'm not into the lingo, but he says he's big into "praise and worship", and loves music. If this were Illinois, I'd tell him to slide down to the "Tripple Rock", and check out Rev. James.

But, it's Austin.

Any recommendations? Please be specific and include address.

I'm biased, but I think that he should try the following church:

Christian Life Church

This is a non-denominational Christian church. It is spirit filled and they have a very good praise and worship choir. The service times are 8 AM, 9:30 AM, and 11:30 AM on Sundays. The full choir is present for the 9:30 AM and 11:30 AM services, but not the 8 AM service, if that makes any difference. There is a team of praise singers that sing at the 8 AM service.

Never been there, but Gateway Church on McNeil (between 183 and Parmer) is another option.
