Need gas grill that doesn't suck for under $500

Anyone have one they swear by? I've looked into the Broil-Mate series which looks promising, but can't find it anywhere. Weber's are sweet, but expensive. I can't live with all this crappy 400-series SS junk that is on the market now. Mine is rusted through, despite being covered 98% of the time*

Needs:
- Easy to clean
- Has a side burner
- Even cooking
- Low flare-ups
- Doesn't suck

* I sometimes get lazy and/or forgetful after slaving over the grill.

That looks like the follow on to my Weber Genesis. Outstanding buy from Home Depot for about 300 bucks in 2005. It doesn't have a side burner but everything else. Plus the warranty is great - got new burner tube for free this year.

The Webers are hard to beat in that price range and you should be able to find end-of-season or holiday sales.

COSTCO - grill I bought the model like this one last year for like $399 with some coupon, it's $599 online right now. Works great, has infrared for searing and back infrared for rotisserie and has side burner. For the money it was a hell of a deal.

There will be lost of deep discounts right before or after Christmas for this category of purchase I will predict.

home depot at st. johns and 183 is closing down. my dad bought a $700 grill for just under $400
