I was just rear ended by a guy yesterday... No apparent damage to my CR-V. (BRAND NEW)

Just a scratch or two on the tire-cover. The other guys car was dented pretty good, though. (DAMN CR-V's ARE SAFE)

Anywho, do I report this to my insurance??? Also, I just totaled my other car two months ago.... why I have the new crv. Do I need to tell the insurance just to prevent it from being a he-said, she-said type deal and to protect myself??

I wouldn't. You might want to file a police report just to get it all on record, but I wouldn't bother with the ins company.

If there is going to be a dispute, there is going to be a dispute. Telling your insurance company you had a small scarpe will neither do anything to prevent a dispute nor will it help solve one should one arise. Telling the police might have, but I wouldn't tell the ins. company. Not telling them is totally consistent with the position that this was so minor an incident that it didn't need to be reported.

I wonder if you should notify his insurance, even if you don't have a claim? I thought that your insurance company would get police report information automatically and assess points, even without a claim, but hopefully someone can confirm that.

honestly, if he rear-ended you, unless he can prove you were driving backwards, he's got nothing. Your ins. company will never hear of this.

You would be very wise to take it in and get an estimate. If there is damage that is not obvious just by looking at it(bent frame, etc), call his insurance company and give them the details. They should take care of the rest...

You need to go to the Dr and find out why your neck is now starting to hurt.

No,seriously,i agree that you should have your vehicle checked over.I would be totaly surprised if there is not at least some minor underlying damage.
