Looking to take a vacation this summer with the wife and we need a good location in the Carribean or Mexico. I saw a similar thread about this, but our criteria is a little different. We want a place with good beaches, food, and nightlife. The beach part has usually been easy for us, but the food and nightlife can be hit or miss. We are open to any location - Jamaica, Bahamas, Caymans, Mexico, Aruba, Dominican, anything.
Specific resort recommendations are welcome too. We would probably like to keep it at around $250-350 a night, unless its all-inclusive. I've always avoided all-inclusives because I've suspected the food and drink was lesser quality, but given a good recommendation I would consider it. Thanks.
