Well, the AA statesman said Brown was replacing Mason in the starting line up, so that means Doge is still running point.

Further, Barnes has admitted that Doge and Mason can't be on the court at the same time. Wow, he's just realizing that?

Sangre rolls your eyes if you want, but I (and many others) have been calling for this change in rotation for a long time. So, the fact that Brown is only now reaching the same conclusion is a bit surprising/disappointing.

As Barnes himself mentioned in the article, he's doing Justin and Doge a disservice by playing them at the same time. He's putting them in a position where they are force to shoot - when that's obviously not their strength. And, that's not to mention the problems that it has created for our post game because opponents can sink back into the lane.

I expect that Doge and Mason will actually do better when only one of them is on the court. Doge will have one more shooter on the periimeter to dish to. And, Mason will have more opportunity to crash the boards and pick up trash baskets (which we sorely need).
