kevin keyes just became the 34th player in UT history to hit a ball over the "green monster". his two run homer in the 8th gave the Horns a 9 run lead. it was the 37th ball to be hit over the green monster at the disch.
 
So glad that team came back today. I was a horrible fan and skipped the game to watch the basketball game (and get stuff done around the house).

Kevin, congrats on hitting it over the green monster. I really enjoy watching you play and hope to see you more in LF or at DH.

Good job today boys, BEAT THE HELL OUT OF RICE!
 
Sounds like a great game but the home team. Congrats Kevin. I gave you credit for hitting one over the scoreboard, so glad to know I wasn't too far off on your talent. Would like to him more in the future.

Offense came to life. Our averages needed it.

Looks like our pitching was strong too. I couldn't go to the game, can't wait to read about it.

Honestly, as a husker fan I couldn't have cared less what happened today. We lost, but still get the series and I'd take two of three at Austin any day of the week. Sweeping Texas at Disch-Falk is asking a bit much, even for a very good Husker team.

Just keep winning series, and we'll end up playing at Missouri for the Big 12's #1 tournament seed on the last weekend.
 
Nice series win for the Huskers, big win for Texas on Sunday. If we're losing these series in May I'll be worried, but I think this team is going to get remarkably better as the season goes on and the youngsters get some experience.
 
Just real happy to avoid the sweep. I hope getting two decent outings by starters will establish a trend. Our starting pitching has been deficient.
