So I was mowing my lawn today after seeing all the controversy at ND, and some of Fr. Jenkins speech, and some of Obama's as well.
They mentioned dialogue and seeing the other side, and respecting each other. So in light of that does anyone else in the Church find it a bit ironic that the Notre Dame Police arrested faithful Catholic members, including at least one priest, for peacefully voicing their opposition to Notre Dame's inviation of Obama (and really the confering of an honourary doctorate).
So the Church stifles it's own, who are voicing the Catholic position, while honouring the one who is there voicing his opposition position? There indeed seems to be something rotten in South Bend.
