FYI....During Saturdays game, the producer showed a shot of several teams all time wins. It's been only 12-13 years that Texas was in the top 3-4 in all time wins! From'14-'21 Texas won 53 games including 10 in '18 under Herman, for an average of 6.62 wins beginning with Strongs 3 year run of 18 wins from '14-'16.

Had Texas won 2 more games per year from '14-'21' they would be sitting just 1 behind OSt and Bama with 952 wins however far from Michigans 991 wins... ....guess those years of Strong and Herman (even though TH won 10 in '18) really comes to light even more. SS has Texas moving in right direction to get Texas back to top.

I think OU is presently tied with Horns! Bad as it seems, Nebraska has fallen harder with total of 912 wins...they too were once in the top 4-6!

At one point under Mack, I think Texas reached #2

Yep, really started with MB's last 4 years with 30 (7 1/2 per yr) but really nosed dived starting in '14 with Strong then Herman except '18 when he somwhow won 10 games....those years we won average of 6.6 games each year....

Speaking of aggy... as they come back into our galaxy in 2024.... I believe UT all-time record on those reptiles is:

77-37-5

Me thinks the Horns easily fatten that win # in a few years to 80+!!!

We're comin' for yer *** aggy!!

Even without 2018 Herman is also at 7 1/2 per yr. He actually won more games in his 4 years here than Mack did in his last 4 despite playing in fewer due to having three games cancelled by Covid.

He certainly had his array of problems, but I don't find it accurate to put those seasons in a category of "part of an even bigger nose dive than Mack's last 4".

I think we were #3 behind UM and tOSU. Charlie Strong let Bama and ND pass us. We're two wins ahead of blowU.

How many of those ou wins should be vacated?
