NCAA Records Set in 25 inning game

Travis Tucker and Michael Torres both set a new NCAA record with 12 at bats in a game.

Preston Clark set a new NCAA record for most put outs in a game with 33.

Boston College and Texas combined to set the records for:

Most strikeouts in a game: 42
Most chances in a game: 222
Most assists in a game: 69
Most plate appearances in a game: 192
Most at bats in a game: 171

25 innings was the longest game in NCAA baseball history (regular or post season).

I think that is it.

Oh wait there are a few more:

Cameron Rupp and Boston College's Barry Butera both set the new record for strike outs in one game with 6

Texas tied the record for most runners left on base with 24

Texas set the record for most at bats in a game by one team with 91 and the record for most plate appearances with 102.

I think there are probably some defensive records to for team chances and assists and the like.

Gotta believe no picher has ever pitched 12 1/3 hitless innings in a single game and/or 13 scoreless innings in a single game.

Cool. I'd just found many of those but appreciate the ones I didn't already have.

I can't find or confirm if this was the longest game TIME in NCAA history (without delay). Do they even keep that record? I can't find it on NCAA.com...

Also, the TexasSports.com article stated 103 plate appearances by Texas -- not 102 as just posted here... Any idea which is officially right?

BTW, Team At Bats was one of the records they were showing in the NCAA montage on the big screen (at least at Reckling... and I'd assume at every Regional host with a screen). The old record was 70. BC had 80. As stated here, Texas had 91.

I'm surprised no one has been able to dig up the largest number of consecutive no-hit innings in a single game. 12.1 has got to the record???

It was the longest by number of innings and time.

Litnin', what was the previous long game (time)? What's your source? Was it the same game as the previous long game (innings)?

what I don't get is how someone goes 1-12. I think a few people did. You'd think they'd get lucky at least one other time.

yock speaks the truth.

i'd like to add most beer runs in a game at three, including said lone star out of a yellow cab
