Big 12 gets 7 teams in

OU got a nice draw.... seems like they always get elated every year.

Hurts for Texas to be sitting on the outside looking in.

But I'd rather see Texas sit out than dramatically exit in the 1st round. I'm absolutely positive Coach A has plans to take us to greater heights; first priority is to make Texas competitive.

Very happy to see Kansas get in, esp since the last bracketology only had six league schools in the tourney. I was so impressed with them last season, coming back after Davis' injury and getting an invite, and then pulling off a few upsets and reaching the Sweet 16. No doubt they expected better results this year with Davis back, esp with her and Goodrich both seniors. All things considered they could have ended up with a tougher first round matchup than #5 seed Colorado. Buffs are good this year but it wouldn't be a big surprise to see the Jayhawks make a game of it, or even pull off the win. The only common opponent I see is #2 seed Cal, but not much to learn from those results. KS lost by 9 to the Golden Bears, and the Buffs lost both matchups by 3 and 4 pts respectively. I would like to see Carolyn and April go out on a winning note so will be rooting for them pull off the upset and at least make the second round. If they go one better, ND awaits in the Sweet 16.

And once again, would love to see Stanford win it all, although beating BU twice in one season doesn't seem a very likely outcome. Otherwise I don't really care, so long as UCONN loses at some point along the way. I just want to see some good basketball.

Very frustrating watching the tournament with no Texas team. How Aston managed to lead a team with the second best talent in the Big 12 to a losing record is staggering. Next year we see no real upgrade in talent, particularly at guard, and the same coaching ineptitude in the half-court offense, and no hope of in game adjustments. How low does Texas have to fall before this half-witted coaching staff is fired remains the only question.

We did no meet either qualifications for the automatic qualifier or the at-large. K-State by virtue of their better record go the AQ spot for the Big 12 and you have to be better than .500 to get an at-large.
