NCAA Basketball 09 vs. NCAA Football 09

Basketball games suck compared to football...Just the nature of the way the sports are played.

That being said I always bought the College Hoops 2k series...But unfortunately it looks like EA is trying to freeze them out of that market and 2k couldnt come to an licensing agreement for this year so no new game and the franchise looks in jeopardy. EA's version of college basketball is terrible...and without competition will be worse.

I never understood the basketball video game love. Even when they try to add in a boatload of playcalling and weird on-the-fly formation stuff, it's still just running down a court and shooting.

The 2K series were really fun for basketball games but EA makes the worst basketball games ever and their graphics are always terrible.

Um, it damn well better have better graphics than NCAA Football 09. There's only 10 players on the court in any given basketball game vs the 22 on the field. Less models = more resources to devote to each. If the average character in NCAA Basketball 09 doesn't have more detail than the average character in NCAA Football 09, then that's flat out sad on EA's part.

Well, I haven't played a hoops game since I won some ESPN college hoops game from EA a few years back.

Thats sad if it looks worse.
