ok so it won't happen this year... but i just thought up a scenario of:
the top 8 teams stay the way they are now. Utah getting the 4 seed due to leading their division.
NOW...what if
let's say a team like sacramento this year played a little better and ended up being the 9th seeded team WITH A BETTER RECORD than utah/denver/portland? what the hell would the NBA do?
leave a team with a better record than a division winner out of the playoffs??? it seems like they'd have to leave out a team like sacramento and that'd suck serious *** for that team. to have a better record than a team in the playoffs.... as a 4 seed no less.
