The sad thing is I can't think of anything that is really associated with Oklahoma besides the OKC bombing and OU football... and either isn't an option for a team name. That means they'll end up with some generic animal name like the Oklahoma City Rattlesnakes...

Sadly, I have been trying to think of a serious answer to this question and have come up blank. OU and OSU have pretty much used up what the state is famous for....I have no idea what Tulsa was thinking. Yes, I know the state is famous for many of the things we joke about on this thread and site. But, if you were tryijng to think of a serious name, what would it be?

Also, have they decided whether the team name will be Oklahoma or Oklahoma City?
