looking to solidify the relocation of the Sonics.
I'll tell you how far along this process is already, forget all of the he said, she said stuff & the city of Seattle is going to do this in court or guy X is going to step up & bail the Sonics out & they will stay...all of that fodder has been going on for quite some time but one thing that really sticks out to me that this is done deal & will be quickly is that they already have assigned parking spaces for the coaches & players.
You don't do that unless the process is pretty far along.
Looks like you guys are going to get to make the trip up to God's country pretty soon to see KD along w/ the a bunch of 1st round draft picks for the next several years.

(be sure to stop at Toby Keith's right by the Ford Center while you're there, fine, fine dinning)

WORST thing that could happen to the NBA. That franchise will die a slow death. NOBODY with money and is young wants to live there. Will not be able to attract FA's that are worth a crap unless they way over pay.

I have been to every town in the US that has a NBA franchise and except for NO post Katrina there is not a worse looking town in the bunch. I will agree that some are not alot better but they are at least marginally better and they still don't draw interest from FA's or fans. They will become more irrelevant than Milwaukee and Sacremento.

And the worst thing is KD will have to live there until he can become a FA.
