Navy Blue-LBJ Parking lot tailgate questions??

We just got parking in this lot for 2014. For those who have been in that lot in the past:
What time can you access the lot to "stake out" a tailgate spot on the perimeter?
Is there a large stampede for tailgate spots or do a lot of folks just want to park in a lot close to the stadium?
Do they allow small trailers to be pulled on the grassy areas?

Hi Ref,

We park in the pink lots now, but some years ago used to park in the LBJ lots.

Per the parking map that came with the tickets:

"Parking areas open at 7 a.m. on game day unless kickoff is before noon, in which case they will open at 6 a.m."

Arrive 2.5 hours before kickoff, and you'll get a parking spot in those LBJ lots.

I wouldn't count on parking on any grass. That will likely get you a big fat citation.

You might want to call the athletic department to get detailed answers to your parking questions.

There are very few early arrivals to LBJ lots. Some of the grassy areas along Red River seem to last until late in the day or go unused.
