Nasty Nestor

Any of you Day 1 P-1's willing to tell the progression of this saga up to a recount of whatever happened at Media day the other day?

It all started nearly a decade ago when they were at the Super Bowl and Gordo, intrigued by the guy's self-promotion elsewhere at the event, decided to approach him with the wireless mic while Nasty was doing his own show. Nasty got pissed that he was disturbing him, and with his (usual) line of uncomfortable questioning, and finally told him to piss off.

The Ticket guys approached him again a year later, and it just escalated from there, reaching its peak two years ago when Nasty went to the NFL and asked them to revoke the Ticket's media credentials if they tried to mess with him. Of course, the Ticket is one of the most successful sports stations anywhere, and Nasty had to buy his own tiny AM station in Baltimore (which can only be heard in the daytime), and choose call letters named after him (WNST).

Furthermore, Nasty has led various anti-Orioles efforts to supposedly protest the team's lack of success in recent years, up until he was the first working "journalist" in years to be denied a media credential by the team before this past season.

I think Jeff Catlin's description of Nasty as "Douchy Doucherson" is pretty spot-on.

corby went to try to honestly extend an olive branch. the guy flipped out, told him to get the **** away, etc.

corby says something like, "i swear to the lord above, this is not a bit, let's all make peace" and the guy rants back with something like, "your probably a fuckin jew"

the hardline then makes a plea for all good p1's to NOT swamp his email with letters of hate, to NOT report him to the anti jewish defamation league, etc, but instead to take the high road

I've never seen him before, but Nestor looks very Chris-Chris-ish...

They even had Norm (who apparently knows Nestor) sit down with him and see if he could "broker a peace".

After about an hour, Norm walks out and tells the Musers, "Um...he wants no peace..."

Dude is a serious deutch bag...

Looks like Cat was spot on. Check out the Arbitron rankings for Baltimore. Not only the lowest rankings in the Sports talk category but in all of Baltimore.

lets just say that will clark did not get along with the ticket. he is a world class ***. he played in baltimore for a while. i put 2 and 2 and 2 together.

I don't think Corby has tape of NN saying that. If he did, I'm sure they would have played it. They talked about it on the Hardline the day after the media party.
