Hello all,
Im in Nashville all weekend on business.
Does anyone have any suggestions on a Texas friendly bar to watch our mudholing of ousucks this weekend? I realize most here are going to be focused on Rocky Top and what not, but was hoping someone knew of a good place.

they might be more focused in Vandy as U-Tenn is in Knoxville.

eat breakfast at the Pancake Pantry and stay away from the strip clubs....they suck.

Go to the sports bar on 21st St., basically right across from the Pancake Pantry. It used to be called Jonathan's but it changed names a while ago. We used to go there all the time for games and they have great wings.

That Judge Bean's place looks awesome. I'm always in Nashville (wife's family) for the Aggy game. Hopefully, this place will be open for it this year. Last year, I was stuck watching it with my friend and two aggys in a completely empty bar.

We ended up watching the game at Judge Beans, and though the outcome was of course not to be desired, we had a great time. Everyone there was very friendly and the cute bartenders kept the beer a comin'.

I'll be there this Wednesday evening through Friday evening. I am staying right by the Vandy campus. Any suggestions on a good place to eat and/or grab a beer to help me forget the all day conference I'll be attending?

was there a long long time ago and ate at a joint called sunset grill, right next to vandy campus. back then it was good place to eat, nice atmosphere. linkage

If you like divey beer joints, Springwater's one of the best.

Looks like its gone indie since me and the wife used to go in there. Back in '95 they had $3 pitchers of Busch and 25-cent pool.
