I am sad that we don't sing the omaha song like we used to 20 years ago. I guess that tradition has been replaced by the new sound system.

I was listening for that also. We also used to do "March Grandioso" but spell out "OMAHA". Those were the days...now I sound old.

They also used to strike up the Eyes of Texas after the last out over the sound system as the rules regarding regionals were over. We had to sing sans backup again.

I am still not over the LHB continuing to play after the Rose Bowl game when they were playing Queen's "WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS, WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS, NO TIME FOR LOSERS, CAUSE WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS.......OF THE WORLD" over the loud speakers.
