Went Saturday night, and I'm going to put it in the "Glad I went, but I'll stick with my previous favorites" category.
As far as food goes, I have no complaints. The salads (traditional caesar for me, tomato/avocado/blue cheese for my wife) were outstanding. The steaks (ribeyes) were great, although I don't know that I prefer it sliced before coming to the table. The sides (mac-n-cheese, creamed spinach) were ho-hum.
This place is going to make its name on atmosphere. They sell sex right from the get-go. You're not getting a job there if you're not hot, and the women on staff outnumber the men by at least two to one, or at least it seemed that way. There's a DJ (lots of good 80s soul Saturday night) and several couches to lounge on in the bar area. I'm assuming this will be the place to look for local celebs for a while (several Dallas Stars in the house while we were there).
Anyway, not really my cup of tea. They fit the Dallas stereotype perfectly, which with the explosion of Uptown/Victory, probably will not be a stereotype for much longer.
I'll stick with Al B's, Bob's, and Pappas Bros.
