After I was done there were beads of melted rubber all the way to the sidewall of my rear tire.

That was in Hitchcock, TX near the dog track. In the Houston area they also have track days at MSR Houston near Angleton and Texas World Speedway near B/CS

Cool! Where is the camera mounted-in your helmet?
I raced sports cars, went to SCAA driver's schools to get a license, back in the day. Played around with an enduro racing dirt bike some.
On a track like that if you make a mistake in a car, you spin out. On a motorcylce, you fall off and something is going to hurt. That's why I liked car racing, not quite as crazy.
But that looks like fun, enjoyed the videos.
Are you going to enter a series of races?

The rider that was chasing me had his camera mounted on the nose of his bike. The rider that was chasing my buddy had his mounted on his fuel tank. As far as racing goes I'd need a dedicated track bike and I don't have the space for it
