I really love the new My Morning Jacket, evil urges.

It is pretty innovative and not what you might expect, so be warned.

There are traditional MMJ songs, but some crazy falsetto funk as well.

Highly Suspicious sounds like Prince.

This and the Black Keys are my albums of the year so far.

I am so pissed. The vinyl editions were damaged coming out of the manufacturing facility. I have been waiting and waiting for this day and here I am empty handed. I will have to wait 2-3 weeks.

And no, I will not buy the CD or download. It defeats the purpose purchasing this thing twice.

I just hope it is not too much like what I heard on SNL. I really didn't like the pitch of Jim James. I have also heard the trademark reverb is missing. True?

Black Keys record is one of the better releases of the year. Check out Fleet Foxes for something good too. It does have alot of MMJ influence, but they do it right.

the first song sounds like phish, which is not good to me.

Just bought on iTunes as well as the Jakob Dylan (Rick Rubin produced) which intrigues me. Can wait to give'm a spin.
