Last night I was downloading some **** and had some other stuff open on my computer. I went to open the file that I was downloading with Window Media Player and it froze up on me. It stayed frozen for a minute or two and then the computer screen went blank. Then a blue screen came up and told me pretty much to turn my computer off and restart it. So I did
When I turned the computer back on it says on a blank black screen "primary hard disk drive failure".
I spent a couple of hours last night trying to figure the **** out, and got nowhere. I finally called Dell today and spent over an hour with a guy for him to tell me that I am pretty much ****** and I will have to buy a new hard drive.
Is there anything that I can do before i go and do this. And is everything on my computer lost and how much does it cost for a new hard drive and why in the **** did it crash????
