Is there a pregame pep rally with the band, cheerleaders ext before the game at the fairgrounds? Anyone know when the team will enter the stadium? Where should I park and how early should I get there? I actually think this will be a great game

The TexasExes will have a tailgate tent in the northwest part of the fairgrounds. Sometimes the cheerleaders and pep band will show up. Get to the fair early and take in the whole atmosphere. Best people watching in the world! The team will come in on busses down Coliseum Dr. which is southeast of the stadium. They usually arrive at the stadium two hours before kickoff.

LHB always warms up under the oak trees at the southeast portion of the stadium...next to the parking lots. What's even more intense is that the blow-u band warms up right next to them. Fans of both sides tyipically congregate and the shouting/yelling gets good. This, in addition to the march in to the stadium and blaring Taps, is what I miss most about being in LHB. But, then again, I get a blast to the past in 3 weeks for alumni band day!!
