tennessee, ucla, kansas, and texas. at least in the only bracket i've completed so far. that being said, how can i pick texas to lose when they've beaten all 3 of these teams already and would be playing in SA? so, texas over ku it is.

am i being too optimistic about our chances?

I haven't filled out a bracket in years, because I like rooting for underdogs/who I want to root for and not the team I happened to circle in my office pool.

That being said, I am filling one out this year. And yes, I am picking the Horns to win the whole freaking thing.

not understanding the love for kansas in general. i am not saying they are undeserving of a 1 seed or they are a not a very good team. However, i just dont think they have the 'load the team on my back' kind of guy. They are a team of very solid players, but i really dont think any of them are 'go to' players. Rush has been on fire lately, but a good amount of the shots have been open looks where he catches/shoots and I dont really consider him a creator. Call me crazy, but I just don't see htem making the final 4.

one thing i will say about KU that is top notch is their on ball defense. its out of this world good.

could you elaborate on why you would pick ucla over texas considering texas' win very early on this season at pauley and the fact that the game would be, for all intents and purposes, a home game for texas? did you think that was a fluke win? do you see ucla as having grown more than texas over the last couple of months? more tourney tested? just curious.
