I just saw that, since the days Napster got massively popular, I knew this was inevitable. Glad to see it come to fruition.

Apparently the plan is to launch an ipod friendly version in mid-March.

Not a good start, download on site is not available yet, although it was supposed to go live 40 min ago.

Kinda like the economy stimulus...too little too late. With all the different ways to get music now(bearshare, limewire,torrents), why even bother with RIAA attempt to track you.

I think they will end up getting something worked out

its only a matter of time before something like this was going to come out anyway

it only makes sense

CD sales are in a real decline and that is not going to change

rather its this that ends up happening or something else where the industry can end up allowing free downloads while making money with advertising

They will never stop people from downloading music and CD sales are never going to go back to where they used to be at one point
