Great post and analysis.

I do disagree with Aaron Lewis though. Lewis may not have as much speed on the outside but he isn't exactly slow. The guy ripped down AD on the outside by himself a couple of years ago I remember. There is a question of whether he is healthy. But to me the dude is a hard nose football player who can play 3 positions. Sure they'll rotate Acho, Melton, etc in but if Lewis is healthy I don't see him going anywhere.

Yes because it was clearly Akina's fault that we missed on all that DB talent from 2003-2005, when we were routinely getting our heads smashed in by OU and were considered, as an entire program, softer than Charmin.

Not to mention the fact that we missed on almost every other position during those years, leading to the mediocrity the past two years.

Don't agree that Muschamp wasn't the coordinator at LSU or Auburm. Saban thought enough of him to bring him to the Dolphins with him.

Still a good read though.
