Mulkey hospitalized in Lubbock

hopefully nothing too serious. the ESPN article said it was a reaction to the medication. i'm sure Barmore will be comfortable taking over the head coach position for a game.

South Dakota State decimated TCU, 90-55. they made 16 3-pointers. i'm really interested to see how they match up with Baylor...assuming Baylor makes it through the 1st round.
 
I heard that Mulkey really tore her ACL but they are keeping the news under wraps in hopes of still getting a number 1 seed.
 
i wonder how Mulkey is feeling watching this game right now?? she's probably freaking out in that hospital room....screaming at the TV. the Bears are struggling right now, down 52-51 to UTSA.
 
Baylor is going to win this one (I think) but UTSA is giving them fits. Still 35 seconds and LBs with a four pt lead and the ball.
 
They probably had to sedate Coach Mulkey after chasing her down the hall as she tried to escape the hospital and get to the USA for OT.
 
I didn't get to see S. Dakota but it is hard to imagine them shooting that well again. Jones saved Baylor yesterday. You have to admire her work ethic and determination.
 
You have to wonder how much that impacted the team. Barmore looked downright bored on the sidelines. I couldn't see any energy coming from him.
 
That link change to a differently written article. The original article that the link went to quoted a Baylor representative as saying that Mulkey's status for the game was unknown. I don't need ESPNs help in looking foolish...I can do that on my own.

I am glad to see that Mulkey will be coaching. Barmore knows his stuff but can't match Mulkey's energy.
