Where does Mozilla store files? I see where (in preferences) you can set the cache folder for prefetched web pages. But where do the other files get stored?
EDIT:
I know they're produced by the same people. What are the advantages of one over the other?
Why I wondered.. Obviously, to save a pic, you can just right click on the pic and save as... But I didn't do that on something I wanted to save for wallpaper. So I thought I would go into cache to find it. There's nothing there. Not a single file of any kind.
Go to Options. On the left, there should be a Download tab/icon. Click that and it should show you where it saves files. Default is My Documents/ My Downloads I think.
Mozilla is pretty much a bloated browser in the legacy of Netscape, everything lumped toguether. Firefox is just an internet browser and the future of the Mozilla foundation along with Thunderbird and Sunbird..
Firefox 1.0 is going live soon with a full page ad in the New York Times, I cannot remember the last time a new version of Mozilla was released.
