Can anyone recommend a good moving company in Austin? Someone reasonably priced, who won't break anything?

I just sold my house in Cedar Park and am finally getting out of my suburban hell. Moving into an apartment in NW Hills, temporarily.

PUT SIMMS IN (a poster here) has a moving company that has gotten nothing but rave reviews from everyone on hornfans who has used his services. Send him a PM.

I'll repeat agin...

if you post here and don't use PSI, you should be banned for life from all computers that you use. there's not one legit reason to go with anyone else. finding a good, reliable, fair mover is like finding that ONE good solid auto shop. the knowledge is worth gold.

Just wanted to add another favorable review for PSI. He did a great job on my move and was very flexible & fair with the price. I'd recommend him to anyone.

PSI has moved us twice. The 2nd time was last weekend -- it was not easy. Our driveway was too steep for a trailer, so they ferried everything up from street level via pickup truck, and then climbed some 12 feet of stairs from the top of the driveway to the ground floor. After that, it was another 12 feet to the 2nd floor for all upstairs furniture.

He & his crew did a fantastic job, and they are all tremendously good-natured guys. I give them a 10 out of 10.
