may be moving back to Austin after 2+ years in Nashville.
our first house in Austin was a little 2/1 on 45th Street - did some repairs and made $60k profit in less than 2 years. Cashed out, moved to Nashvegas and had two kids.
Now heading back to Austin - need at least a 3/2, probably a 4/2. looking for a nice place but also a good investment opportunity. want to spend less than $250k but could nudge up toward $300k. strongly prefer central austin with easy access to Mopac.
any suggestions as to where we should focus our energy? I don't want a 1200 sq ft place in Tarrytown that might appreciate but would be a ***** to live in with 2 kids. Same time, don't want to live in freakin' suburbia with minimal opportunity to appreciation - that's why I'm fleeing Nashville.
