Moving a movie from DVD to iPhone

Just recently bought an iPhone and iMac and want to know what I need to do/purchase to rip a movie from a DVD I own and put it on my iPHone. Thanks.

J40, who cares? He posted it in the correct forum here. I mean seriously you could go to every single thread on horn depot and post your exact response...

Anyway (in the hopes of not having a pointless reply myself) I use Mactheripper to rip the DVD. I then use final cut pro to get it into iphone format, but I doubt you'd want to buy final cut pro just to do that.

Handbrake is the way to go for free. I use Mac the Ripper and Visualhub.
