I know this is a strange topic since Hollywood has gone to hell and pretty much does this all the time, but the other thread got me thinking about movies that were remade and were better.

Off the top of my head, Ocean's 11. The Rat Pack one is kinda sucky.

Hell, that may be it.

Wow -- hard to come up with much. I googled and foundThe Link -- it has a pretty good listing.
Not many where you can say the remake was better. Of the ones weher I've seen both, the remake of "The Fly" and "invasion of the body Snatchers" (70s remake, not the 90s remake) are at least arguable. Probably "Scarface" as well, though I don't remember much from the original.
I will go with the Simpson's "Cape Fear" episode, however

I like happy endings & don't really watch movies to see real life endings. The ones I do, I fully expect.

Why is there a problem watching movies for entertainment and anti-reality?
