I wonder why people even turn their TVs on much anymore. It’s mostly vapid, low-minded **** intended to shock, inflame or titillate, punctuated with frequent intrusions of increasingly witless attempts to persuade viewers to buy more **** they don’t really want.

Now, if we could trade ‘Dancing With the Stars’ for ‘Boxing With Hobos’ I might be tempted to tune in.

There's a couple of shows that I watch that probably make this list; however, I think most people have their guilty pleasures.

Perhaps I'm being sexist but it seems as if the crap that women watch is way, WAY worse than any male targeted show. A few examples,

16 and Pregnant
Tiaras and whatever the hell it's called
Any soap opera
Oprah, The View, etc...

And my wife watches some sort of reality show about designing clothes. Kind of like Top Chef for designers.

I have no idea how people can watch this stuff.

The only reality show I like is sports.

OK, maybe a little of the shows that involve dancing, because dancing requires physical ability.

The only show "made for women" that I watch is Drop Dead Diva on Lifetime. But it's scripted, not reality.
