Has there ever been a more exiting regional all around? I’m not just speaking as a Longhorn fan, but as a baseball fan. EVERY game was exciting. Let’s look at it game by game:
Game 1: 8-7 BC scores 6 in the top of the 9th to take an 8-5 lead, TSU scores 2 in the bottom of the ninth and leaves the tying run on second
Game 2: 3-1 Nothing too exiting, but a good game
Game 3: 7-4 Army scores 5 runs in the bottom of the 8th to win 7-4
Game 4: 3-2 25 innings. Nothing more needs to be said.
Game 5: 4-3 From what I heard, controversial call at first to end the game with BC’s tying run crossing the plate
Game 6: 14-10 8 run 9th including Walk off Grand Slam. Nothing more to say
With the exception of Game 2 every game was decided in the last inning and every one of them in dramatic fashion. I can’t ever remember a regional where every game was that good.
