Most anticipated movies for 2008

According to this guy, anyway. He does list a "Sex In The City" movie (Why? It's bound to suck...), and some movie with Paris Hilton in it

, but doesn't list the new Harry Potter movie.

Which is odd, because with a couple of exceptions, most of these are not necessarily going to be the greatest movies ever made, just your typical "Blockbuster Summer Movie" types.

Im looking forward to the new Bond movie. Daniel Craig looks like he may be the best Bond since Connery.

wasn't aware that the new bond would be released in 2008, but if so that qualifies as my 1b. the dark knight was the first thing that popped into my head for 1a.

I must be weak for sequels, because I'm really stoked to see Bond, Batman, and Indy. Two allsome franchises that received perfect reboots, and, well hell, it's Indiana Jones.

Get Smart looks good, they got Buck Henry doing some of the writing which is a good thing.

Bond should be good.


Harold and Kumar? even if it's bad it's good

Star Trek? ditto the bad is good.

Not really into Batman or Bond. But I liked Bringing Down the House, so I'll go see 21.

Where the Wild Things Are is my son's favorite book right now. He doesn't watch movies, but I may be interested in that.

If they shot 21 (Bringing Down the House) in anything but a documentary-style then the filmmakers should be shot. Shoot that film with handcams, eye-in-the-sky, and undercover kind of angles and that film is badass. If they shot it like every other film, then yes it will probably suck.

Just watched the trailer...yeah it's gonna suck.
