More WVU weirdness

Beilein entered into a settlement of WVU's $2.5M buyout clause, apparently promising to pay $1.5M. He sent the first installment "under protest," saying "At this time, I have chosen not to initiate legal proceedings to declare the Agreement and the related liquidated damages provision in the Employment Agreement void but reserve my right to seek future action."

I can't believe WVU would enter into a settlement agreement regarding the Beilein contract that preserves Beilein's right to sue to have the contract declared unenforceable.

Even more, I can't believe WVU is being represented in part by Beilein's attorney in the suit between WVU and Rich Rodriguez. Both situtations have the coach's attorney screaming about the illegality of the buyout clause, with Rodriguez's attorneys comparing it to slavery.
