More A-hole Williamson Co. Cops

Saw the earlier post about the jerks in Williamson County. Last week I was driving to the Cotton Bowl on New Years Eve with a friend and there was a chemical spill in north Austin that tied up traffic on 35 for hours. After moving less then a mile in an hour, we exited in Pflugerville, sat in traffic for another 30-45 minutes, snaked all around to Hutto, then got back on 79 going back into Round Rock. There, we got back on 35 north just past the chemical spill.

The vultures from RRPD had about 5 cops set up not less than HALF A MILE from the bottleneck. ******** pulled over my friend and ticketed him for going 82 in a "65."

What's less safe, going 82 in sparse traffic after a frustrating delay? Or cops pulling over 3 and 4 cars at once right next to a busy entrance ramp. I was more pissed than my friend who got the ticket, but it seemed really cheap to set up shop with 5 patrol cars right after a wreck that caused people as much as a 3 hour delay.

they did their homework. drivers typically gun it after such delays to let off some steam and to 'compensate' for lost time, in their minds, anyway.

Do you think you deserve a free pass to drive like a wild man just because you sat in a traffic delay? Whatever dude, you deserve a ticket for going almost 20 mph over the speed limit.

I got rear ended by a guy who was doing about 85 in a 65. The big problem was that I was on a motorcycle and he was in a F-150. Your friend deserved the ticket, delay or no delay.

Gone to Texas: same ******* thing happened to me on the way to Dallas. I was stuck on I 35 for two hours from downtown to Round Rock because of that chemical spill.

After finally getting some open space, I punch it and go about 75, there was a ******* RR cop on the feeder above and pulled me over claiming I went 83 in a 65 caught on his laser. That is ******** considering my radar never went off. I wanted to rip that ************* head off. I didn't say a damn thing because of the reputation of those redneck Gestapo *******.

I am thinking of contesting it in court. What are you planning on doing? I bet those ******* pulled over 100 people that night. What a chickenshit thing to do.

P.S. to those siding with the cops, bite me. That delay was ******* ridiculous. 2 HOURS from downtown to Round Rock. I am sorry that I "punched" it by going 75.
