Montreal, Canada

Going to be in Montreal Thursday evening until monday. I have never been there and am going with a few others (ages 25-32) that like to have a good time at bars clubs etc....anyone ever been? also any good places I should check out while I'm there.

I can't recall all of the specifics (it was a bachelor party weekend), however my group was in Montreal last summer (30-33 yrs old).

There are a couple areas to go out in. Maybe someone else can recall the names of the districts, but one was touristy, had more of Dallas West End feel. Avoid this area. Mostly Americans who wear jorts.

We ended up off of St Laurent (trendy area). Supper Clubs are a big deal there. We ate at Buona Notte one night. Essentially you reserve a table, eat dinner, then the place turns into a club (you get to keep your table). If you like the bottle service, Vegas type scene, this is a great spot.

Also went to Time Supper Club one night. Didn't eat there, but had a table reserved. This place was pretty ******* cool. Also a vegas-y type place.

There is one casino about a 15-min cab ride from downtown. Nice place, I somehow won a ton of money.

Strip clubs...they are everywhere in downtown. All euro chicks, ridiculously hot. Dances are typically $10.

Montreal is a beautiful city and there's typically some festival or event happening in Old Montreal

Montreal is great! The area in question is probably Crescent Street. Yes, it is a little touristy, but the small, trendy bars and restaurants are a great place to people watch while enjoying the crisp, cool Montreal evenings.
