Monroe’s position still up in the air UPDATE

As it should be. He is a stellar athlete and deserves a shot at wr, rb, db, and possibly even PR/KR in the future.
 
Good to hear. I hope that both he and Desean Hales get a chance to play on offense as True Freshmen. We're going to need the playmakers.
 
Monroe and Hales need to play on offense immediately! RB, WR, KR/PR...hell, why not all of them. They could be an awesome tag-team force for the Horns. I can't wait to see them making plays all over the field.

Obviously, Monroe needs to play CB if he can make the two-deep.
 
Mack should try and field the shortest avg offense in the country by starting Hales, Monroe, Fitzhenry, and my unborn fetus* at receiver.



*Roughly same height.
 
It is going to be up to Greg Davis's great imagination to come up with ideas to get the ball into Monroe's hands.

I know that Mack has always been a little hesitant to use freshmen as kick returners in the past but i seriously think the ball needs to be in Monroe's as much as possible.
 
Monroe will play WR this year. He may also see time on punt and kick off return teams. He has explosive speed that will be needed on the offensive side of the ball this year. Not a knock on Cosby, Shipley, et al, but they do not have the top end speed that DJ has.
