Money spent in recruiting

Anyone think the story making the rounds this week on how much Texas spends on recruiting especially of Arch Manning is coincidental ?
Standing alone it sounds like a lot.
I would like to see how much other top programs spend,
As long as nothing was illegal(and I am sure it was all legal) then it is just envy,

Not even close to other top programs. Georgia is crushing it in both spend, recruiting, and results. Totally above board, too. It’s called investment.

Check out every big schools recruiting budget, it’s obscene. Not to play too strongly the bleeding heart card (and I will readily admit my hypocrisy on this because I buy season tickets support the Horns full well knowing what is going on) but the number of scholarships that could be given out from every schools recruiting budget alone is staggering and tells you all you need to know about the cesspool that is college athletics. Again I readily admit my hypocrisy on this issue because tonight I will be cheering on the Horns and the system they are a part of. Doesn’t make it right.
