Why can’t CDC afford a live microphone for all press questions omg just shoot me … center to right have no sound … I have sent CDC complaints multiple times … @SabreHorn please set up a go fund me page for another microphone omg

I agree with Quan Cosby from the sense that now all the NIL $$$ stuff is out in the open, then players should be held more accountable to the media/fans by responding to tough questions about their play. Unfortunately, the people who show up to our pressers tend to ask things like "how does it feel when you lose a lead in the 2nd half?" instead of "why did you lose the lead in the 2nd half?"

But they're just kids...

I did not understand his response to getting Card reps. He went to generic... Some was on Quinn, some on the receivers, some on the blocking. That's true for every position. The reporters needed to scrutinize that response more.

I'm glad he acknowledged the running game was more effective than he gave credit to during postgame.

"Coach..
We all, yourself included, are aware of the program's struggles in recent years and the need to turn around some of the trends that have plagued the program.
...And from the outside, it appears that at every possible juncture, at every conceivable moment, on any opportuned week in any opportuned game, and on any momentous moment or game or season or program altering half or quarter, possession or play even...at the threshold of each and every open door....when everything seems lined up perfectly and the chance is right there for the taking...the team stumbles.
...Can you tell us specifically how you plan on changing this???"

I think Sark was right - enough blame to go around for everyone m. Auburn missed his FG too

I have sent questions to the writers that get to the core of what the fans want to hear about the second half problems but all you hear are the softball questions. Word is, is that if they ask the penetrating questions or ask follow up questions to get some real substance they run the risk of getting blackballed from future pressers. It’s almost like they are told the questions that will not be answered. Frustrating to the fans.

I agree they need microphones for the press. Having to turn up my volume bugs me!

NIL money or not, they are still kids. They need to spend less time at pressers dealing with questions from seasoned reporters and more time studying, working out, and chasing that a$$. Let them answer questions after the games.

It's not "almost like" that... it is that. Not so much blackballed, because they're still allowed in the room. But anyone from newspaper media or a handful of websites who doesn't hold the line of "ask a question that lets the coach talk about his feelings instead of actual X's and O's" doesn't get called next time out.

In Mack's first August press conference when fall practices started (not sure if it's filmed or on YouTube or anything out there), I was working at the school and happened to attend. He wanted to show how friendly he was to all questions, so I stepped up to a mic and asked him about the QB situation. I heard Kirk Bohls audibly utter something like "uhhmmm" and Mack pivoted to "let's talk about how good Ricky Williams is" and everyone laughed. I actually thought he would say something about Walton or Cicero or Applewhite.

Video or it didn't happen.

Embarrassed to admit, but I once had a crush on Cindi Lauper.

Anyway, still think we have a great chance to win the rest of our games.
