I always really liked this one from the Houston theatre district:

I don’t know how long that one has been there but I remember it from the early 80s.

Jester is awful architecturally. I’m talking hideous.

Brutalist architecture sucks.

That being said, I’m ok with the Shell building in downtown Houston.

Those (fairly) new, tall, super-skinny skyscrapers in NYC look ridiculous.

Somewhere in the 1950s or 1960s, tall building architects lost their sense of good taste.

It returned, in part, with the (fake) glass sided tall buildings of the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s. (IM Pei, etc.). This stuff still dominates the skylines of Houston and Dallas.

Now, someone needs to revive the building of art deco large buildings.
