Why did Barnes decide to go with Connor Atchley again? He should be on the bench. Not only is he 0-3 from the field. The guy he is guarding has had 3 wide open shots.

I'm not a basketball expert by any means, but it just seems to me that Big Dex is like a black hole... whenever he gets the ball inside, it never comes back out. I know that more than half the times that we get him the ball inside, he should just go up for a dunk or whatever, but there *are* times when the defense collapses on him and he should recognize that and push it back out to the perimeter. I mean, at least ONCE in a while. This just happened and he tried to work through a double (or triple) team and got called for walking. Too bad he doesn't know how to pass it back out when the immediate short shot isn't there. Oh well... Thank god it's only basketball

Yeah, Dex does not quite have the footwork to get his own shot if it is not there. He winds up walking or getting an offensive foul. Something he can definitely work on is allowing the offense to flow through him instead of ending with him.

Down to a 5 point lead.

Dex has pretty good footwork for a big man, but that doesn't matter when he is triple teamed and still tries to force a shot instead of kicking it out.

Being light on your feet for a 300 pounder and good basketball footwork are two completely different things. I have yet to see him get a good look at the basket if he is double teamed. If he had good basketball footwork, he would be able to do this. But don't get me wrong, the guy has made great strides and continues to get better. Too bad he only has one more year in school because he could use a couple more.

"Missouri staying in the 2-3 zone because they only have to worry about 1 guy."

So true. A zone D or a box and 1 against AJ kills this team. Pass goes inside and everyone collapses, no need to worry about a kick out to a 3 point shooter.

Yeah, it kind of makes me wonder why we are so concerned about the ability of Dex (or other big guys) to kick out. Who are they going to kick out to? When they pass it out to Mason, he just catches it and makes a jab step toward the lane and allows the defender to come to him.

When Dex gets the ball down low he will either dunk and/or get fouled, travel, or get called for the offensive foul. Fortunately the first scenario is the predominant one. Other than potential foul trouble, I really have no problem with Dex imposing his will under the basket.

if we lose, look no futher than the missed ft's down the stretch. 60% and EIGHT missed will get your *** beat.

(Edit: Appears whoever loses will have 8 missed ft's.)

Hook'em!!!

I just get so damn frustrated at how careless and lazy this team looks. They have no killer instinct and no leadership to speak of. I love Barnes, but it's time for him to put his foot down and play some of the guys on the bench who give it their all in practice. Mason is not a point guard. I don't care how many mistakes Dogus makes, he's a youngster, let him play and learn from them. I'm just pissed....sorry for the rant

Terrible. God awful inbounds play.

What are you doing??????????????

Anyone who thinks this team is sweet 16 is retarded. Theres no way this team is ready for tournament play. OU is going to kills us at home if we dont get our **** together...

When does football season start?

Aside from the horrible pass, that last inbound play was very odd. I could understand trying a half court pass if there was only a second, or two left, but not with 5.5 seconds on the clock.
