kyle gibson will go for mizzou and we are probably going to use boening or workman. craig and keith said they think giving chance an extra day rest would be best and go with a midweek starter for our first game.

This is how Gibson performed against us on our Saturday game. Since our series against Mizzou, we had the collapse against Oklahoma State, but we've been a different team.

Mizzou, on the other hand just swept Nebraska. They havent done done too terribly away from their home field, but they do lose more games out of the confines of Taylor Stadium.

I wish there was some way we could get Austin Wood to pitch this first game, Ruffin for Aggy and then KK for OU. If we did this, it would make 3-0 going into the championship series MUCH more possible.

I believe that if we went 3-0 and then lost in the championship game, we would have a very chance of hosting a regional but traveling to a top 8 seed.

Boening and Workman are just going to have step up, and Augie's teams often find a star in the post season. Without one or both of them coming on strong, we may have trouble getting to a super anyways.
