Mississippi State @ Kansas State

MSU favored for a reason but K-State should at least be able to give them a good contest at home with a typical Bill Synder game, keep the turnovers and penalties down, go for a low-scoring defensive struggle, churn clock to minimize the total number of possessions.

No score yet but it's just a few minutes in.

In the pregame ESPN show, they introduced "Reverie" the A&M dog, and called him Reverie about 10 times.

Kind of doubt anyone would call Bevo "Bejo" or anything. Aggie tradition exposed as esoteric.

BTW... MSU's basically blowing K State out of the stadium at this point, and it doesn't look like it's going to change.

I'm feeling a little better about that matchup now.

I will never feel good about the KState game so long as the purple wizard walks the sideline

So much for KSU keeping it close. They are down by 21 and have been outgained in yardage like 460-180.

They've actually held MSU to 8/20 passing but the Bulldogs have rushed for around 350 yards. This is looking like Georgia's run game vs Oklahoma last year; I'm not sure I recall a Snyder defense ever getting this consistently and utterly gashed on the ground.

Maybe we should take a page from MS St playbook. Run more designed QB runs with Sam. Nick Fitz ran a lot by design and it worked. Sam could do that.
